The University of Dundee will host the 1st International Symposium on Screw Piles for Energy Applications (ISSPEA 2019) on the 27th - 28th May 2019 at the West Park Conferencing and Events Centre in Dundee, Scotland.
The event will be a gathering of invited academic and industrial experts discussing recent research, developments, applications and future directions of screw piles in the energy sectors.
Topics of interest will include presentations and posters on the investigation of installation requirements, axial and lateral capacities, and cyclic loading using numerical and physical modelling techniques. The second day will conclude with a tour of the geotechnical engineering laboratory facilities at the University of Dundee and demonstrations of inflight screw pile testing.
