The conference centred around time for the business events sector to spearhead a broad-based recovery and brought together event local, national and international professionals who outlined the path forward as business events transforms into a medium-term virtual world.
The pandemic had forced a move away from face to face meetings and conferences as they moved online or were postponed. However, it was acknowledged that business events are integral to not only economic advancement but societal development as a whole. Tasked with the need to restart economies devastated by the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, governments right now need tools and platforms that can advance recovery in the most effective ways.
Attendees from all sectors of the industry were invited to hear about the most recent research, and how business events are evolving to be omnichannel.
