We are delighted to be hosting the Realistic Medicine Conference in Tayside 2020.

The Realistic Conference aims to engage a wide audience including clinical staff, care staff, academics and the public.  This free full day event will help attendees:

  • Understand the principles and opportunities in 'Realistic Medicine' as they impact on the delivery of safe sustainable health and social care.
  • Build confidence by tackling the difficult issues that surface when trying to practice realistic care.
  • Form new connections between professionals across different sectors and citizens.  
  • Inform the approach being taken in Tayside to ensure excellent care is delivered in a person centred and sustainable manner. Consider how to evaluate the impact of new approaches taken in Tayside.

Conference Venue

The conference is being held at the award winning Dalhousie Building at the University of Dundee.  Named after the Earl of Dalhousie, second Chancellor of the University, this was designed by Campbell & Arnott and opened by the Queen in 2007.  View our Accessiblity Guide and Green Credentials
