Forbes of Kingennie - January Events

Forbes of Kingennie Country Resort are hosting a January full of intimate events in their Buddon Burn Suite where you can sample dishes and drinks from local suppliers and learn about them at the same time.

Tickets for each event are £20 per person, but buy a ticket to all four events for £60.

Pork and Whisky Night 7th January

Learn about pork sourced from the Forbes family farm, Omachie, which will be washed down with some palatable Scottish whisky.

Scottish Gin Night 14th January

Kim, gin connoisseur and founder of The Gin Bothy, will take guests through her homegrown family of gins, pairing each one with the mixers and garnishes to bring out the tastes and flavours. By the end of the night you will have some wonderful gin ideas that you can experiment with at your own dinner parties.

Wine and Cheese Night 21st January

Hilary and Steve, from the award-winning independent specialist cheese shop The Cheesery on Exchange Street in Dundee, will guide you through a selection of delectable cheeses. Philippe from L'Art du Vin, Kingennie’s local wine supplier, will be serving up with wine to match.

Craft Beer and Sliders 28th January

For all you craft beer and burger lovers, this event is one for the diary. Learn about the brewing process while devouring some of our chef's sliders. Andy McNeil, from Harviestoun Brewery, will be taking the beer tasting. The sliders will be made from home-grown pork form the Forbes family farm.
