Overview
For over 600 years Glamis Castle has been home to the Earls of Strathmore and Kinghorne. It was the childhood home of HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and birthplace of HRH Princess Margaret. Glamis was also the setting for Shakespeare's 'Macbeth'.
Set in the picturesque Angus countryside, the towers and turrets of Glamis make a stunning entertaining venue that is ideal for a wide range of events including private guided tours, lunch parties, grand dinners, cocktail parties, product launches, musical evenings, filming and photo shoots. Glamis also boasts extensive gardens and grounds which make it the perfect location for marquee events and outdoor activities.
Whether you choose to visit Glamis to admire its stunning architecture, to explore its history, legends and myths or to enjoy the surrounding beauty of the grounds and gardens, you will not fail to be touched by the Spirit of Glamis.
