Overview
Slessor Gardens, the main parkland area in the central waterfront in Dundee, is 10,738sqm in size and designed to be a multi-functional space with capacity to host large events making use of temporary structures to provide new space for large conferences and social events.
The award winning Green Flag venue, which sits directly across from V&A Dundee has hosted numerous outdoor concerts, events, sporting activities and conferences since being opened by Her Majesty The Queen in 2016.
The site is surrounded by ten individually themed display gardens reflecting the City’s rich heritage and is home to Discovery Walk, ten plaques that celebrate and honour the pioneering spirit of those from Dundee whose scientific and social achievements have helped make Dundee and the wider World a better place.

Plan for 800 delegate conference
With the use of temporary structures such as Marquee/Air Beam, Slessor Gardens could host up to 800 delegate conference with the following requirements: Theatre style seating 800 delegates with space for exhibition, catering and registration and an additional 8 breakouts (100 theatre style in each).
- Pre-approved plan and guidelines for conference of 800 (subject to each event undergoing full checks).
