Abertay University has introduced a collaborative learning suite to create a new way for tutors and students to interact; its digital classrooms are equipped with writeable walls and numerous monitors, allowing students to collaborate and interact with documents in real time.

The reach of Dundee’s legends can be felt across the globe. An International Association for Medical Education – AMEE - was founded in Dundee in 1972 and continues to expand around the world and in 2017 opened an office in China.

The work of one PhD researchers at The James Hutton Institute and the University of Dundee has been globally recognised, as Shumei Wang has been named Young Plant Scientist 2018. It’s a testament to the educational standards in Dundee and the wider region.

St Andrews is home to the oldest university in Scotland, and Dundee consistently tops the polls for being the UK’s best city for students.
