House of Dun

The House of Dun is a spectacular 18th century venue, designed by William Adam. Nestled in the beautiful Angus countryside with wonderful views over the Montrose Basin, it lies just 3 miles west of Montrose, and a 45 minute drive from Dundee and Aberdeen.

Entertain up to 50 guests in style within the impressive Grand Saloon, where they can enjoy a unique dining experience beneath the resplendent Jacobean plasterwork. For something more intimate, the sumptuous Dining Room can seat parties of up to 16. The house is also ideal for meetings and training days.

For larger gatherings, up to 100 can be accommodated for a drinks reception, with all guests having exclusive access to the wonderful array of art including the Scottish Colourists collection.

Outside the delightful gardens and grounds are ideal for team-building activities, company BBQ’s, falconry, clay pigeon shooting and salmon fishing. Marquee area for up to 500 guests.
