The 127 rooms, each selling at a fixed rate of £39.95, were adorned with pictures on the wall bought from IKEA in Newcastle and transported back to Edinburgh in Norman’s wife’s Volkswagen polo. Norman set out by hiring a core team of experienced people, many of whom are still part of the Apex team today, and began seeking staff with the right attitude rather than the right experience. As he points out in the company manifesto, “If a team member has a smile, we can train them to accomplish anything.” Retaining the all-important family ethos was critical. We spend our days rushing around, buying gifts for our loved ones, making snowmen and decorating the Christmas tree – then before we know it Christmas Day is upon us. So why not take some time out during the hectic festive season and enjoy a festive lunch or dinner at Metro Brasserie with your work colleagues, friends or family. Or, if the run up to Christmas has you feeling energised & exhilarated, dance the night away with our party lunches or dinners with entertainment.  To download the Christmas brochure, please click here. For more information on our festive offerings, please visit our website: http://www.apexhotels.co.uk/en/wedding-and-events/christmas/ Alternatively please call: 0845 365 0004 and a member of the events team will be delighted to assist.
