European Higher Education Professionals Given Top Marks for Hosting EUNIS Congress in Dundee

Higher Education professionals from across Europe will converge on Dundee for a three day conference next year, Dundee & Angus Convention Bureau can announce. Abertay University has been selected to host the annual EUNIS gathering from June 10-12 which has as its theme ‘The Journey to Discovery’. Over 300 delegates are expected to attend the European University Information Systems Organisation’s EUNIS 2015 Congress, providing a further economic boost for the area’s hotels and businesses. Other recent EUNIS events have taken place in Helsinki, Prague, Paris and Bologna. The selection of Dundee and Angus for this international event further underlines the importance of the area as a business tourism destination.

EUNIS brings together those who are responsible for the management, development and the policy for Information Technology in Higher Education in Europe, and the organisation’s members seek to contribute to the development of high quality information systems. The full conference programme will be announced in January 2015 and will include comprehensive social and cultural programmes.

Dundee & Angus Convention Bureau has also played a role in securing numerous international conferences for 2015 including isamDUNDEE2015 Congress in October which will be welcoming 500-600 international delegates. The Bureau continues to work with its Ambassadors and Bureau Partners to build on these conference successes by proving that Dundee and Angus is a forward thinking destination with first class conferencing facilities.
