Having recently opened our 10th Apex Hotel, an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and driven Sales Manager has arisen in our growing Scottish team.

Based primarily at the Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa in Dundee, focused on corporate transient and group rooms together with C&E sales for this hotel. The role is also to actively sell and promote Apex’s portfolio to corporate clients, regional partners and end user bookers. Ensuring that specific sales targets are met, whilst product and service standards are consistently achieved within the Sales department, and that a high degree of customer care is given at all times.

This is a proactive Sales role with a large percentage of time being spent managing the existing client base whilst seeking out new corporate partnership and cultivating new business opportunities.


Excellent level of English - written and oralYou will currently (or have previously) be working within a Sales Manager rolePrevious knowledge and experience of the Corporate and or MICE market within a Corporate Sales role would be a distinct advantageProven track record of personal fulfilment of account targets and KPI’sStrong account management, strategic and exceptional organisational skills necessaryExperience of negotiating and contracting essentialStrong communicator who can drive relationships and is comfortable building regional and international networks to drive salesKnowledge of Opera S&C system or similar essential


As Sales Manager you will account manage all regionally assigned clients, partners and C&E bookers. The role will also involve supporting the Director of Sales, Scotland in defining the Dundee Sales strategy and activity plan. The post of Sales Manager, Dundee, will be based primarily from Dundee but travel to, Head Office, client and agent offices both nationally and internationally will be required.


The successful candidate will demonstrate an exceptionally strong focus and drive.

As a confident self-starter and natural communicator, you will demonstrate a desire to actively sell and promote Apex’s portfolio to corporate clients, regional partners and end user bookers.

With a passion for customer service and satisfaction, you will be proactive, show initiative and also have a proven track-record to deliver creative solutions to maximise revenue and profit.
